Just a simple gradient using a new sheer off white color I got from Ulta. I did these to match the shirt I wore to a Mountain Goats concert. I don’t have a picture of the shirt from the concert, but here’s one of me and my mommy :)
I don’t really know what I was going for with these. As always, I tried just painting them red and before I knew it, this happened. I’m incapable of wearing a solid color on my nails haha
My friend said they look like Indian rugs.

While I was painting all the kids’ nails, my 45 year old male cousin Joey decided he wanted a Superman emblem on his thumb.
I wanted to use the water spotting technique to do some turquoise nails, but it just wasn’t working for me. I couldn’t get my black polish to drip into the water, and when I did, the alcohol wasn’t making it spread like it was supposed to. So I had to try something different. I did a variation of the water spotting technique with some shimmery brown polish, and then I freehanded the black lines.
Here’s a better picture of the nails I did for my cousin Danyelle. My first time doing leopard print!
These are my cousin Saige’s nails. Her nails were so tiny I could barely do anything with them! She didn’t know what she wanted, so this is what I came up with.
Neon zebra stripes for another one of the cousins. She was really quiet and didn’t talk the whole time, but I could tell she really liked them.
I’m so proud of these! Dany’s nails were so long and easy to work with. And I’ve never done leopard print before, though I’d been dying to try it out.
I went to Georgia for my cousin Nick’s wedding last weekend, and I brought my nail supplies along with me. The little kids all wanted me to paint their nails. After I finished, one of the Aunts came up to me and slipped a 20 dollar bill in my hand! She said it was for all the supplies and nail polish I used on her girls. I tried my hardest to refuse it but she insisted. Can I count this as my first professional gig? ;D
These were the best ones. I’ll be posting the others over the next few days.
